How Casual is too Casual for Business Casual?

Now that people are going back to work in the office, they are having to make the switch from their work from home casual wear to business casual. One thing that I have noticed is that workplace dress codes have relaxed overall. But, now that companies have switched their dress codes from business professional to business casual, people are confused and don’t know what to wear!

The question is, how casual is too casual for business casual? (Click pictures for links to clothing!)

DON’T: Wear drawstring or elastic waist sweatpants
DO: Wear elastic waist dress pants

DON’T: Wear crocs
DO: Wear dress loafers or mules

DON’T: Wear sweatshirts or hoodies
DO: Wear business casual bomber jackets or blazers without buttons
