...I was an 8th grade English teacher, watching runway shows on my computer during my free periods.

Fashion has always been in the stars for me: while walking between the rows of desks, my students would often say "Ms. Young, it looks like you're walking down the runway!"

After teaching, I began my fashion-styling career journey with Urban Outfitters' fashion merchandising team. Although I think the customer service aspect was extremely valuable, I realized that retail was not for me.

What I really valued was creating long-lasting relationships with clients, in which I'd be able to help them discover who they are, and what their style is. I wanted to be a part of someone's confidence-building journey.

With my friends', family's, and students' support, I moved to the Bay Area to launch my styling business and chase my dreams. I now manage a team to help more clients reach their style goals and fashion their future.

As for my personal style, I'm particularly fond of skirts - a fashion staple that's been prominent since the 1890s!
