I’m Abby!.
I'm a certified & published fashion stylist located in Silicon Valley with speciality in personal styling, color analysis and runway, commercial, and editorial styling.

Last week I talked about how someone chooses to dress. One of the factors that influences the way people pick out their clothes is their mood. Feelings can have a big impact on how we choose to dress. For example, here are 8 different feelings and the clothing choices associated with them:

  1. Sexuality -body revealing clothes Sexy clothing choices

  2. Happiness -fun fashion, bright colorsHappy Clothing Choices

  3. Sadness -somber hues, body-concealingSad Clothing Choices

  4. Youthfulness -current teen fadsYouthful Clothing Choices

  5. Sophistication -understated, cosmopolitanSophisticated Clothing Choices

  6. Superiority -expensive, high-fashion, jewelrySuperior Clothing Choices

  7. Inferiority -seductive, worn, inappropriate, too perfectInferior Clothing Choices

  8. Self-confidence -appropriate, style for functionConfident Clothing Choices
